Animal shelters work 365 days a year to save and care for homeless pets as well as injured and abused animals.
In addition to finding homes for rescued and homeless pets, these shelters also house, feed, and provide care for these animals which puts a burden on many local shelters.
Laura Mae Gay, the owner of The Pet’s Home and local NAPPS member, is spearheading the Present 4 Pets campaign in the Naperville-Plainfield area.
The Presents 4 Pets campaign is a collection drive aimed to assist local animal shelters in caring for and housing rescued pets.
The campaign is already underway for this year and donations will continue to be accepted now through December 15. Those interested in helping the cause may donate items to collection boxes at one of five locations throughout the Naperville Plainfield area.
The following are the donation spots for 2013:

In an effort to collect more items and donations, NAPPS members such as Laura Mae Gay of The Pet’s Home are raising awareness through their clients and local communities.
