Upon visiting our facility, you’ll notice how it incorporates residential furniture, decor and amenities for a home-like atmosphere that helps put pets at ease. Your dog also is not confined to a cage but rather free to roam with a sense of inclusion in its home away from home.

Yorkville guests that are with us by day can enjoy from 4 to 8 hours of loving daycare. Guests that are boarding with us receive up to 8 hours of daycare as part of their stay.

The large, fenced outdoor area lets your dog dash through the fresh air as it has a blast choosing its playmates and exercise. The outdoor area includes nine separate, segregated yards monitored for your dog’s safety, comfort and fun.

Our crowing jewel is undoubtedly our inviting in-ground pool – the only one of its kind in Oswego! More than just a place for dogs to cool off, the pool is a place of endless joy and entertainment. Imagine your pet frolicking in the water, its tail wagging with sheer delight. Our staff oversees all pool activities to ensure a safe experience for every pet.

The indoor area at The Pets’ Home offers your dog lots of toys plus designated spaces for activities that suit different levels of need and energy. Many of our Yorkville guests also get excited for our foam parties with our commercial-grade foam machine!

Personalized Plans for Your Dog

Understanding that each pet is unique, we offer care plans tailored to your dog’s specific requirements. Whether your best friend has dietary restrictions, medical needs or certain play preferences, our team takes the time to note these nuances for a stay that adapts to your dog (rather than making it adapt to us).

You are welcome (and encouraged!) to let us know everything about your pet’s routine, likes and dislikes. The open communication between us also includes keeping you connected with your pet when you’re away. We will update you about your dog’s progress through daily reports.

Safety and Health

Each guest room is cleaned daily with pet-safe cleaners – we don’t want your best friend getting sick on our watch! A trained staff member also will attend to any medical needs. In the rare case of emergencies, we’ll notify you and your vet promptly. The bedrooms all include a pet CPR kit should it be needed as well.

The frequent exercise we offer likewise helps to support your dog’s better health. When you come to pick up your pet, don’t be surprised if your best friend is joyfully worn out and ready to relax at your feet!

Specialized Staff

Whether it’s attention or medication your dog might need, our team is trained to identify and respond. We also reinforce your pet’s security and well-being with facility-wide surveillance technology that lets us keep a good eye on our guests.

Your dog won’t be left to fend for itself, including at night. A staff member always sleeps overnight at our dog boarding facility, and should a concern or rare emergency arise, we will know just what to do.
