Yes, for the safety and health of all our guests, we require up-to-date vaccinations, including rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella, and a fecal test within the last six months. Please provide vaccination records upon registration.

How are the dogs grouped in daycare?

Dogs are grouped based on size, temperament, and activity level to ensure a safe and enjoyable play environment. Our experienced staff carefully assesses each dog’s behavior to determine the best playgroup.

What amenities do you offer for boarding dogs?

Our boarding accommodations include comfortable bedding, regular feeding schedules, and ample playtime in our spacious indoor and outdoor areas. We also offer additional services such as grooming and enrichment activities.

Can I bring my dog’s own food and belongings?

Yes, we encourage you to bring your dog’s regular food to maintain their diet consistency. Please prepare food in meal-proportioned packages labeled with your dog’s name. The Pet’s Home will provide bowls and slow feeders. Please leave toys, blankets, etc. at home.

How do you handle emergencies or medical issues?

Our staff members are trained in pet first aid, and we will contact your veterinarian for any medical emergencies. We will contact you immediately for any concerns regarding your dog’s health during their stay.

Is there a trial period for new dogs in daycare?

We offer a trial day for new dogs to assess their compatibility with our daycare environment. This allows us to ensure they are comfortable and happy before committing to regular daycare attendance.

How do I make a reservation for daycare or boarding?

Reservations can be made through our online booking system on our website. If you need assistance booking, please call the facility at 815-254-1166. We recommend booking in advance, especially during peak seasons.

What measures do you take to ensure cleanliness and hygiene?

We maintain a rigorous cleaning schedule throughout the day, including disinfection of play areas, bedding, and bowls. Our facility is equipped with proper ventilation systems to promote fresh air circulation. We utilize a commercial-grade shop vac system that removes waste from the building and transfers it to an underground tank system. Additionally, we use pet-safe cleaning products to ensure the health and safety of all our guests.

Can I get a tour of the facility?

Absolutely! We love showing off our accommodations! You may book a tour by calling Laura Mae or another staff member at 815-254-1166.

Will I receive updates on my dog?

Yes! Daycare and Boarding dog owners will receive regular reports.
